A review of Cormophyta material held in the LOU and JBAL herbaria and recent collections in Galicia have revealed ten new floristic species for different provinces: two new for the province of A Coruña: Sicyos edulis and Rosa stylosa; two for the province of Lugo: Onobrychis viciifolia and Hyparrhenia hirta; and seven for Pontevedra: Hymenophyllum tunbrigense, Thelypteris dentata, Rosa arvensis, Rosa stylosa, Lathyrus nissolia var. glabrescens, Ferula communis subsp. catalaunica, and Vicia bithynica. Of the 10 new species, eight are considered native plants, while only two are exotic.
