Abstract
In the following paper, the media coverage by the newspapers Clarín, La Nación, Página/12, and various argentine cultural magazines surrounding the figure of bahiense writer Héctor Libertella (1945-2006) is explored in order to analyze the extent to which they contributed to the construction of his authorial image, the dissemination of his achievements and career, and his current positioning and placement within the literary field. Additionally, the delimitation of the archive being used involves another type of trans-biographical approach to the writer's trajectory and publications.
