Abstract
The article analyzes the teaching of History based on the relationship between curriculum, methodology, and teaching practice, highlighting the need to move beyond traditional approaches centered on memorization. It advocates the development of a contextualized and collectively constructed curriculum, connected to students’ realities, with the aim of promoting critical, reflective, and meaningful learning focused on citizenship education.
