The digital era has radically transformed the way organizations manage and handle their human capital, giving rise to Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) as strategic tools. These systems have revolutionized the personnel recruitment process. Nowadays, the business world is characterized by an increasingly complex environment marked by globalization, competitiveness, and accelerated technological advancement. In this context, information systems have become fundamental, as they allow companies to collect, process, and distribute information. This work aims to understand the human resource information systems and their role in the personnel recruitment process in organizations in the context of the digital age. The research is of a bibliographic nature, carried out through the review of books, articles, and scientific journals. It was concluded that the digital world is constantly evolving, which is why it is essential that human resources teams commit to continuous training and updating of their knowledge on recruitment technologies to fully take advantage of the available tools and turn the digital transformation of recruitment into a true competitive advantage for their organizations and to acquire the ideal talent.
