The purpose of the study is to develop a technology for fostering sociocultural values in preservice teachers during their professional training at a university. The article presents the types of sociocultural values held by preservice teachers; identifies problems that determine the need to develop a staged technology for fostering sociocultural values in future teachers during professional training, namely fragmentation of technological solutions, deficit of practice-oriented tools, lack of algorithms for transforming knowledge of values into sustainable professional practices. A comparative analysis of baseline and control stage metrics across the experimental and control groups is provided, which allowed evaluating the effectiveness of the developed technology for fostering sociocultural values in preservice teachers during professional training. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the theoretical and empirical substantiation of the fostering of sociocultural values in future educators enrolled in degree programs 44.03.01 Pedagogical Education and 44.03.05 Pedagogical Education (with two training profiles) through interconnected stages (motivational-axiological, operational-reflective, and outcome-personal). As a result, criteria for fostering sociocultural values in preservice teachers were identified (motivational-value, cognitive, activity-based, and reflective), on the basis of which the effectiveness of implementing the author’s technology was substantiated.
