Abstract
Abstract
Autothermal oxidative conversion processes for natural and associated gas are among the most promising areas of development in modern gas chemistry. This paper briefly examines several promising approaches to the oxidative conversion of light hydrocarbons, producing in-demand base products. The closest to technological implementation is matrix reforming, which produces a versatile intermediate product in the form of syngas. Furthermore, other oxidative conversion approaches also offer significant potential and could find their own technological niches. This underscores the relevance of further research aimed at developing the scientific foundations for the oxidative conversion of hydrocarbon gases.
