Abstract
This article presents the qualitative findings of my doctoral research on multispecies families in Colombia, analyzed from an antispeciesist transfeminism perspective, with the aim of identifying everyday practices and discourses that characterize these interspecies relationships. I used multispecies ethnography as my main methodology, conducting in-depth interviews with four multispecies families previously selected in a quantitative phase of the research. The results show how these interspecies relationships are clues to the present for imagining the future, giving way to a reformulation of the concept of family towards that of affinity communities, inviting us to rethink and explore new forms of social organization from a utopian horizon that responds coherently to the current eco-social crisis.
