Abstract
Project of an interactive map of the Ecological Reserve of Santa Rosa Xochiac made by the twelfth generation of the Master in Design, Information and Communication at uam Cuajimalpa, with environmental education purposes. For this project activities were done, like research of the environment and its soundscape, sound recordings in different places of the reserve, design of the project’s identity and datasheets with information of flora and fauna of the place, the tracing of the polygon that defines the limits of the reserve and the geolocation of sighting points in ArcGis. These resulted in a prototype of an interactive sound map that displays datasheets with sound of mammals, reptiles, birds, flowers, fungus and insects of the reserve. During the project, the existence of noise pollution that affects the boundaries of the reserve was confirmed, as well as the change of the soundscape within the area.
