Abstract
Problem statement: Technology-facilitated gender-based violence updates historical forms of patriarchal control through new devices, languages, and circuits of circulation. This article reflects on this phenomenon in Santander as a dispute over the autonomy, digital citizenship, and human rights of women, girls, and adolescents. Method: It develops a documentary and interpretive study based on Analytical Notebook No. 55, records on cybercrimes, entic Households 2024 data, national and international regulations, and constitutional case law, in dialogue with Rita Segato, Marcela Lagarde y de los Ríos, Liz Kelly, Emma A. Jane, Clare McGlynn, and recent contributions from un Women. Conclusions: The article concludes that digital gender-based violence should not be treated only as a technical incident, but as an expression of the patriarchal continuum and a public issue; likewise, it proposes strengthening multi-stakeholder management lines involving the public sector, academia, and social organizations.
