Abstract
This article is about the existing alternatives included in the General Companies Act for the transferring of trademarks. As we know, the traditional ways to transfer property are set in the Civil Code. In the case of companies, as legal entities, may also acquire or transfer assets through the contracts ruled in the Civil Code but also the General Companies Act establishes other alternatives for the transfer of assets for the companies, like the capital contribution for the incorporation and capital increase, the distribution of profits, the reduction of share capital, the corporate reorganization and also the distribution of the balance in a liquidation.
