Mazkur maqolada qadriyat tushunchasining ijtimoiy-psixologik mohiyati, uning shaxs rivojlanishi va ijtimoiylashuvidagi o‘rni nazariy jihatdan tahlil qilingan. Qadriyatlarning shakllanish jarayoni falsafiy, psixologik va ijtimoiy psixologik yondashuvlar asosida yoritilib, Sokrat, Aristotel, J. Piaget va L. Kohlberg kabi mutafakkir va olimlarning qarashlari tahlil etilgan. Shuningdek, shaxsning qadriyat yo‘nalishlari uning ichki psixologik xususiyatlari bilan bir qatorda oila, ta’lim muhiti, tengdoshlar guruhi, ijtimoiy-madaniy muhit va tarixiy sharoitlar ta’sirida shakllanishi asoslangan.
