Abstract
Abstract
Abstract In this study, we analyzed the experimental angular distributions of the 7 Li + 11 B elastic scattering system using different interaction potentials. We used microscopically derived real folding potentials, which incorporate the cluster structure of the 7 Li nucleus. Additionally, the conventional double-folding potentials were generated using various effective interactions, namely CDM3Y6-Paris, BDM3Y1-Reid, SPP2, and BNP effective interactions. This study focuses on two known cluster configurations of the 7 Li nucleus: the α + t cluster and the 6 He + p cluster. We compared our obtained theoretical results with those based on phenomenological optical model potential analyses and experimental data. To simulate the coupling to the breakup channel of 7 Li, a surface real potential was added to the unnormalized real potentials. This surface potential plays the role of the dynamic polarization potential (DPP). The present results highlight the weak coupling to specific non-elastic channels. This is confirmed by the advanced continuum discretized coupled channels calculations. Furthermore, we investigate the energy dependence of important quantities such as renormalization factors, DPP parameters, potential volume integrals, and reaction cross sections.
