This article analyzes the sociohistorical construction of women's bodies under structures of male domination, as well as how patriarchal violence is inscribed on women's bodies, generating harm that manifests as abuse and wounds. From a situated feminist epistemology and a qualitative methodology, life narratives were constructed as a method of study, using lifeline analysis, semi-structured interviews, and body mapping of five women. The analysis focuses on the four patriarchal harms identified in the participants' experiences: silencing, self-rejection of the body, harm from absence and abandonment, and harm from violent social constructions. It was concluded that patriarchal violence is systemic and structural, closely linked to capitalism and colonialism, and that recognizing and understanding the different manifestations of violence and its damage is a fundamental step to initiate processes of healing and bodily reappropriation, as well as to break the reproduction of patriarchal dynamics in everyday life.
