Abstract
Abstract
This article examines the biographical, intellectual, and literary factors that shaped Hojiakbar Shayxov’s science-fiction thought. Using biographical, historical-literary, comparative, and textual methods, it analyzes his treatment of scientific discovery, technology, space exploration, and the future. The findings show that Shayxov placed the human being at the centre of technological change and linked scientific progress with moral responsibility. By combining international science-fiction conventions with Uzbek cultural values, he helped establish a distinctive national model of the genre. His legacy presents the future not as a fixed prediction, but as a consequence of present ethical choices.
