Abstract

Abstract

Pyroshock during spacecraft separation poses a critical challenge to equipment reliability. Although the Shock Response Spectrum (SRS) is the industry standard for test equivalence, shocks with identical SRS but different time-histories can induce significantly varying structural responses. This paper aims to develop a more accurate, SRS-integrated method for establishing test equivalence through an investigation of the influence of signal features on structural responses. To ensure the validity and efficiency of the research, large-scale shock signals are synthesized using the shock-waveform superposition algorithm and screened for physical validity using a ResNet50-based deep learning approach, thereby guaranteeing the quality of the excitation signals. Three criteria for establishing test equivalence are investigated: (1) SRS, (2) SRS combined with signal effective duration and amplitude, and (3) SRS combined with the Shock Severity Infimum (SSI). Shock signal sets corresponding to these three criteria are used to excite plate structures in batch finite element analysis simulations, and the resulting structural responses are statistically analyzed. The results indicate that when using the SRS as the sole benchmark, the additional inclusion of effective duration and amplitude criteria does not lead to a significant improvement in test equivalence. The proposed dual-spectrum (SRS-SSI) criteria significantly improve the equivalence of shock environment tests, providing more accurate criteria for equipment reliability validation.
