Background: High doses of cyclophosphamide cause lung damage through oxidative stress and inflammation, whereas CoQ10 and fisetin exhibit antioxidant properties. Objective: To evaluate the protective effects of CoQ10 and fisetin against lung damage caused by cyclophosphamide. Methods: Group 1 received the vehicle alone (1% DMSO and 0.5 mL of corn oil). Group 2 cyclophosphamide was administered via a single intraperitoneal (IP) injection at 150 mg/kg, along with the vehicle. Group 3 was given CoQ10 at 100 mg/kg with 1% DMSO. Group 4 received fisetin at 20 mg/kg with 0.5 mL of corn oil. Group 5 was treated with both CoQ10 (100 mg/kg) and fisetin (20 mg/kg). All treatments were delivered each day orally for 21 days, with an IP injection of CYP on day 17. MDA, WBC, NEU, Lym, and lung histology were assessed five days after toxicity. Results: CP overdose significantly increased serum levels of MDA, WBC, NEU, and Lym and caused substantial histopathological changes in lung tissue. CoQ10 reduced these effects, whereas fisetin improved most of the characteristics. The combined treatment showed a significantly lower protective effect than CoQ10 or fisetin alone. Conclusion: CP causes lung damage through oxidative stress and tissue changes. However, their combined administration demonstrated relatively reduced efficacy.
