Latino veterans in the US account for 14.6% of Latino business owners, yet remain largely unexamined. Using 2024 SLEI national survey data, this study profiles Latino veteran entrepreneurs and compares them to other Latino business owners. Veterans tend to be older, predominantly male, more educated, and more concentrated in the West. Logistic regression shows that age, gender, education, and region significantly shape the likelihood of Latino veteran business ownership. Prominent among these results, women are 72.8% less likely to be Latina veteran entrepreneurs in relation to their male Latino counterparts, and Latino veterans with a four-year college degree are 3.7 times more likely to be entrepreneurs than Latino business owners with advanced graduate education.
