Abstract

This article analyzes the influence of a tutorʼs interactive activities on the sociogenesis of an individualʼs regulatory functions. The integrated quality of self-regulation emerges from various areas of personal functionality and their value-semantic system of self-awareness. Particular attention is paid to describing the stages of internalization of the tutorʼs culture of activity by the mentee during the development of mental and psychological functioning. The tutor is defined as a significant actor in the mentee's zone of proximal development. An effective and constructive model of tutor-mentee relationships is established. The authors conclude that tutoring is a key social situation in the development of an individual as an autonomous agent, capable of directing the process of personal development in multiple directions.
