Abstract
Abstract
Mexican narrative written by women has undergone significant changes across generations, not only thematically but also in its literary treatment. Each generation of writers, particularly within the realist tradition, addresses women’s issues from a more critical, pluralistic, and inclusive perspective. Similarly, literary works have tended to incorporate diverse artistic discourses, creating a dialogue between the texts and other languages such as visual arts, music, and film. This brief overview outlines the characteristics observed in the work of women writers born between the 1970s and 1990s. Furthermore, the final section briefly analyzes the work of three authors from Guadalajara: Guadalupe Ángeles, Cecilia Eudve and Ave Barrera.
