Abstract

본 연구에서는 소형 전자기기의 열 방출 성능 향상을 목적으로 히트싱크 시스템의 열적 최적화를 수행하였다. 연구의 주요 목적은 최적의 열 성능을 달성하기 위한 히트싱크의 설계 사양을 도출하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 슬릿 폭(5~20 mm), 열 입력(25~100 W), 설치 각도(0~90°), 그리고 핀 두께(1~2.5 mm)와 같은 다양한 설계 변수를 고려하여 실험을 수행하고, 이들이 누셀트 수(Nu)와 열전달 계수(h)에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 열적 출력의 예측에는 인공신경망(ANN: artificial neural network)을 적용하였으며, 다목적 최적화는 가중합 기법(WSM: weighted sum method)을 활용하여 수행하였다. 그 결과, 실험 조건 16번(SW = 20 mm, HI = 100 W, O = 0°, FT = 2 mm)에서 최대 성능지수 1.000을 나타냈으며, 이때 누셀트 수는 100.47, 열전달 계수는 18.95로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 제시된 기하학적 조건에서 전도 및 유동 특성이 향상됨에 따라 열 성능이 극대화될 수 있음을 의미하며, 이는 추가적인 검증 실험을 통해 확인되었다.
