This article analyzes the theoretical and pedagogical foundations of forming mathematical literacy and logical thinking in primary grades in connection with the opportunities of artificial intelligence. Mathematical literacy is determined by the pupil’s ability to understand numbers, shapes, measurements, relationships, and simple mathematical situations, as well as to apply them in solving everyday problems. Logical thinking is the pupil’s ability to compare, classify, generalize, identify cause-and-effect relationships, draw conclusions, and justify solutions. The article examines the possibilities of using artificial intelligence tools to create individual tasks, analyze mistakes, develop interactive problems, and improve pupils’ independent thinking
