Abstract

Abstract

In the early 1990s, following the collapse of the Soviet Union and the gaining of independence, new processes began to emerge within Georgia's cultural and social space.A new generation of composers appeared in Georgian academic music, one that viewed electronic music not merely as an innovation, but as a means of transforming it into a musical analysis of time, space, and public discourse. The paper focuses on the electronic works of composer and improviser Rezo Kiknadze, who stands out as one of the key figures in the formation of contemporary Georgian electroacoustic music.
