Abstract
Abstract
The objective of this study was to analyze the internal structure and reliability of the Student Satisfaction Survey (SSS) among Mexican university students. A total of 458 students participated (women = 69.9%; mean age = 27.76 years; SD = 4.41 years). The SSS was analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and exploratory structural equation modeling (ESEM). Regarding the results, the original five-dimension model obtained favorable fit indices with ESEM, but the student-teacher interactions and student-student interactions dimensions overlap with each other; therefore, a four-dimension model was evaluated, which presented better psychometric evidence. The reliability of the scores and the construct shows acceptable levels. It is concluded that the SSS has adequate psychometric properties.
