This collaborative volume examines the social and pastoral challenges posed by contemporary human mobility in Mexico and the United States, contrasting them with the Catholic Church’s prophetic mission and the eschatological horizon of Christian hope. Its diverse contributors analyze migration from multiple disciplinary perspectives, including moral theology and theological ethics, pastoral ministry, Catholic social teaching, history, the health sciences, psychology, and sociology. In addition, the volume amplifies the voices of those who have lived the experience of migration and those who minister to migrants. The book emerges from the international colloquium on Migration and Theology, held in October 2025 in the border city of Tijuana, Mexico. Its primary aim is to foster theological reflection on migration and to support the pastoral ministry of the Catholic Church across the Americas.
