Amid the rapid digital transformation of financial markets, specialized depositories remain a key element in ensuring asset safety and the stable operation of investment funds. This article examines key areas for enhancing the record-keeping and control functions of specialized depositories in the context of financial market digitalization. Based on an analysis of current legislation, standards, market practices, and technological trends, the study substantiates the need to transition to fully automated depository operations. This includes the processing and reconciliation of source documents, the implementation of instruction registries to ensure the immutability and transparency of records, and the integration of intelligent transaction monitoring algorithms. Such algorithms enable the real-time detection of investment mandate violations and operational errors. The proposed improvements aim to minimize operational risks, reduce costs, and strengthen confidence in specialized depositories, thereby fostering the sustainable development of the collective investment market within the digital landscape.
