Abstract

Abstract

Microlearning with artificial intelligence is a new strategy to improve the digital skills of teachers in rural areas, considering the technological, educational, and training limitations they face in these places. Objective: Analyze the effectiveness of educational microcontent, especially in video format, supported by artificial intelligence to improve digital teacher development. Methodology: It was carried out with a descriptive quantitative approach, using an evaluation matrix organized into indicators such as correspondence, coherence, clarity, structure, transfer, relevance, functional use, and innovation. These indicators were rated on a scale from 1 to 4, along with compliance criteria. Results: Most of the indicators showed a high level of performance. The reviewers highlighted the conceptual clarity, logical organization, classroom applicability, and pedagogical integration of artificial intelligence. However, we observed slight variations in correspondence, coherence, and relevance in some cases. This reflects the incidence of contextual factors such as limited access to technology and gaps in digital skills. Conclusions: Microlearning with artificial intelligence is an effective, innovative, and relevant option for the training of teachers in rural areas. However, its implementation must include sustainable strategies that take the context into account, improve continuous training, and ensure adequate access to technology.
