Abstract
Artikel ini membahas dua masalah utama, yaitu (1) gagasan-gagasan kunci dekonstruksi Derrida dan (2) dekonstruksi sebagai strategi pembacaan teks sastra. Gagasan-gagasan kunci dekonstruksi adalah (1) differance, (2) tilas, (3) suplemen, (4) teks, (5) iterabilitas, (6) ketiadaan putusan, dan (7) diseminasi. Sebagai strategi pembacaan, dekontruksi berpijak pada asumsi dasar bahwa bahasa ditandai instabilitas, tidak ada metode yang bisa menafsirkan teks secara tuntas, dan ketakterbatasan kemungkinan pembacaan teks. Pola minimal tahapan pembacaan dekonstruksi adalah (1) rekonstruksi, (2) dekonstruksi, dan (3) reinskripsi. Kemungkinan hasil pembacaan dekonstruksi dapat berupa (1) invensi, (2) "yang lain", atau (3) teks mendekonstruksi dirinya sendiri.
