Abstract
A situation of calamity can be seen as a turning point between a before and an after; perhaps this is how communities in the affected areas in Colombia experienced the earthquake of August 10. However, after a tremor, we validate life and remember that humanity is above all vulnerable. Transformations are forged within chaos, and cracks should not merely be covered, closed, or erased. It is possible to observe through them and thus validate our own scars. Physical space transforms its material to contain the stories and voices of the before, during, and after of a territory that never stops trembling.
