This research discusses the biography of Imam Waki‘ ibn al-Jarrah, one ofzthe prominent hadith scholars of the second Hijri century, highlighting his scholarly status and his position among the people of hadith. The study focused on identifying the most notable narrators who frequently transmitted hadiths from him, through examining the narrations in hadith books and Musnads. It was found that among his most famous students who narrated abundantly from him were: Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Yahya ibn Ma‘in, Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah, Hannad ibn al-Sari, Ibrahim ibn Said al-Juhari, and other trustworthy scholars. This research reveals the significant role Waki‘ played in spreading the Sunnah and his deep impact on shaping a generation of hadith narrators who preserved and conveyed Islamic knowledge to the Muslim Ummah
