Abstract

Abstract

Abstract The AppleTV series Pluribus presents a world in which an alien virus joins the vast majority of humanity into a collective group mind. The few unjoined find themselves facing classic political dilemmas in a world without political institutions. Ultimately the series suggests that the virus has returned its characters to something like a Hobessian state of nature.
