Abstract
In this study, novel asymmetrical AB 3 -type porphyrin compounds containing norbornylimide and bromine as heavy atoms were successfully synthesized. All compounds were characterized by using FT-IR, 1 H NMR, 13 C NMR, and MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry. Their photophysical and photochemical properties, including UV–Vis absorption, fluorescence emission, fluorescence lifetimes, and singlet oxygen generation, were systematically investigated in tetrahydrofuran (THF).
