Abstract
DCFTA is an agreement on the creation of a deep and comprehensive free trade area, which was signed between Georgia and the European Union in 2014. According to this agreement, Georgian small and medium-sized businesses can export their products to the European market, which will significantly increase their capital, revenues, production volume, quality, etc. The purpose of the study is to discuss the challenges and opportunities that DCFTA can create for small and medium enterprises of Georgia. Also, the main goal of the research is to determine the main problems encountered by small and medium entrepreneurs during the implementation of the contract. Research methodology: 45 medium-sized companies, up to 100 employees and the management of these companies participated in the mentioned research. Qualitative research in the form of in-depth interviews and quantitative research are also used.
