The guest artist of this issue is Katia Bacchi, whose work expands, through aesthetic expression, reflections on memory, democracy, and the struggle for emancipation. Her paintings transform lived experiences into records of injustice, exploitation, and resistance, conceiving the human body as a territory of memory. By bringing together testimony, denunciation, and resistance, her work engages with this journal’s “end of the world” perspective, reaffirming memory as a means of confronting oblivion and the threats posed by new forms of authoritarianism.
