Abstract

Abstract

Dor procedure is a surgical treatment for post-infarction aneurysms, reserved for patients with large aneurysms at risk of rupture or those causing arrhythmias [1].Procedure involves excising of akinetic and dyskinetic segments and reshaping the left ventricular cavity with a patch.Consequently, ventricular geometry is restored and the ventricular ejection fraction increased [2][3][4].We report the case of a 68-year-old man transferred to our institution from another center with suspected iatrogenic left ventricular perforation and impending cardiac tamponade.
