Maqolada tijorat banklari raqamli transformatsiya darajasini baholashning nazariy va uslubiy asoslari tadqiq etilgan. Raqamlashtirish, raqamlizatsiya va raqamli transformatsiya tushunchalarining farqlari aniqlashtirilgan. Raqamli infratuzilma, biznes-jarayonlar, raqamli xizmatlardan foydalanish hamda raqamli ekotizim va boshqaruv bloklarini qamrab oluvchi raqamli transformatsiya indeksi (DTI)ning ierarxik modeli taklif etilgan. Masofaviy xizmatlardan ro‘yxatga olingan foydalanuvchilarning jami soni 37,3 mln nafarni tashkil etishi va ularning 97,5 foizi jismoniy shaxslarga to‘g‘ri kelishi ushbu ko‘rsatkich banklararo takroriy hisobni o‘z ichiga olishini va faol foydalanishni ifodalamasligini ko‘rsatadi. Markaziy bank statistikasi va banklar hisobotlarida raqamli faollik ko‘rsatkichlarini oshkor qilishni takomillashtirish bo‘yicha takliflar ishlab chiqilgan.
