Abstract
Abstract
In this study, we introduce a new concept-Generalized Trapezoidal Fuzzy Multi-Numbers (GTFM-numbers)-and new arithmetic-geometric aggregation operators within the framework of GTFM-numbers to address multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) problems characterized by uncertainty and multiplicity. By extending classical fuzzy number and multiset concepts, GTFM-numbers provide a more expressive model for representing complex and imprecise evaluations. On the other hand, the proposed operators are mathematically analyzed and shown to satisfy properties such as idempotency, monotonicity and boundedness. In addition, some new score functions for GTFM-numbers are developed to enhance comparison and ranking of alternatives in the MCDM problems. The applicability of the proposed methods is demonstrated via an agricultural decision-making scenario which can be represented by GTFM-numbers. Moreover, a comparison study is conducted to compare the introduced operators and some existing operators introduced by various authors.
